They have a rubber toe cap and back counter for added durability. The asymmetric high-top construction protects ankle with a soft tricot lining throughout. The lace holes reinforced with metal eyelets and the foam padded tongue and collar adds comfort and support. The Performlite midsole with heel airbag provide cushioning and shock absorption and the revolutionary cold temperature rubber provides for enhanced traction on snow. The Nomad also features an abrasion resistant sticky rubber outsole, and abrasion-resistant, multi-tone sticky rubber bottom with dc's trademarked "pill" pattern.
